Ghent sights - Gravensteen

Ghent has a iconic city centre with wonderful waterways, churches, and iconic buildings around the canal's. It provides background for a lot of very nice photos which resemble Venice in its core, but the attraction is the Gravensteen castle.

Gravensteen castle

Built in 1180 and it is surrounded by the canal on one side, while mighty towers boast around the other side it provides a great photo opprotunity. Beside this the interior is made as a Museum, so it offers a nice visit and a lot to see.
